Today, I watch the video of Mr. Cory’s Cookie on Youtube. It mainly talked about how Mr. Cory and his mom Lisa got help and develop their business. I really touched because Mr. Cory always dreams to makes the world better for everyone he knows, especially his mom. Also, his mom Lisa is eager to help the single moms get jobs opportunities and better education.
At the beginning, Mr Cory and his mom sell the fresh cookie at the nearby communities store, such as the dealers. When a investor asked Marcus about the cost of a dozen of cookies and the profits, Mr Cory and his mom can not have the specific number. However, Marcus is really interested in the business and he think that his mom is a real leader. He invested Mr. Cory’s cookie and led them to deal with the partners including the packaging and distribution channels.
By understanding the the mission and core value of Mr. Cory’s cookie, Marcus helped them to partner with a packaging and manufacturing company and decided to sell the fresh cookie online and deliver to the customers.
