As the development of modern technologies, more and more advanced and progressive techniques and methods are used almost everywhere. As a future marketer, I pay close attention to the artificial intelligence and big data in marketing area and how to utilize these tools and techniques to solve marketing problem and succeed in such a competitive world.

First of all, according to the Karola Karlson, the artificial intellect and big data can help enhance the user experience and personalized service because the artificial intelligence algorithms can calculate the user preferences and send the most proper content to the target audience. For example, AI can automatically analyze and consolidate the users’ data, then it can sort and send the personalized advertisement or recommended product or service to potential users.

Secondly, AI can help to boost the creativity of the content of marketing. Karola said that in 2018, 20% content were written by AI. Indeed, AI can generate the content according to the brand image and rules set by the human-beings. Also, the AI and chat bot can react with the customers and solve some customer service problems so that the customer service can be more efficient and effective.

Last, but not the least, as future marketers, we must pay attention to the data privacy problem in order to create a better marketing world. For example, marketers and marketing agencies need to use the data under the regulation of GDPR as well as the business ethics. It’s not only a challenge for the AI marketing but also a opportunity to improve service and reputation.
